Men’s Groups

“As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens his fellow man.” (Proverbs 27: 17)

“Brothers, even if a person is caught in some transgression, you who are spiritual should correct that one in a gentle spirit, looking to yourself, so that you also may not be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6: 1-2)

“Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, as indeed you do.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 11)

Throughout Scripture we are reminded of the importance of being in communion with our Christian brothers to support one another on the road less traveled and to spur each other on to a deeper level of holiness and virtue. One tangible way we can do this is in the form of men’s group where a small group of men meet up monthly or bi-monthly for prayer, Scripture reading, and sharing life’s joys & challenges that we encounter on our walk with the Lord. Men’s groups support, affirm, and share wisdom about the difficulties men encounter in their daily lives both at home and at work. Therefore, we highly encourage men to join a small group with the other men in the Catholic Men’s Movement. Resources are available for starting a new men’s group or joining a group that currently exists in the Ann Arbor area.
